As default, Cognigy will handle all of your intent mapping needs, meaning that you define your intents as described in Intents.
However, you can also choose to use an external NLU Provider to handle intent mapping, and connect them to Cognigy. These external NLU Connectors will generate the same input object as Cognigy, which enables you to easily switch NLU providers without having to change your flow.
We currently support connections to Dialogflow, LUIS, Watson and Alexa Skills which you built with the Alexa skill builder.
To create a new NLU Connection, simply click on the "+" button on the Project Dashboard and select the NLU Connector button.
Give it a name and set basic settings.
This will open up a form wherein you must give your NLU Connector a name of your choice, choose the type of connector (API.AI, LUIS or Alexa) and give either an access token (API.AI), an endpoint URL (LUIS) or a skill (Alexa). Don't worry, you can change this later.
